Taurine capsules deliver 1 g of this sulfur-containing amino acid per one capsule serving. Taurine plays a critical role in a broad range of body tissues, including the cardiovascular, immune, central nervous, and reproductive systems, as well as in the liver and skeletal muscle. Dietary taurine is primarily found in meat and seafood, therefore, vegetarians and vegans may not be meeting their requirements for taurine. Scientists are unsure whether humans make enough taurine, and elevated levels of homocysteine often suggest the body may be having difficulty making this compound.
Recommended Use: As a dietary supplement, take one capsule per day, or as directed by your health care practitioner.
